The problem
The Hidden Cost of Every Unanswered Question
Someone lands on your site at 10 p.m. wanting to know if you serve their neighbourhood, how to volunteer, or whether their gift is tax deductible. The answer is somewhere on your site, three clicks deep. They don't find it, so they leave.
Your team answers the same emails every week while the bigger work waits. And every visitor who gives up quietly is a donor, volunteer or client you never hear from.
How it works
Proven Setup: Live on Your Site in About 10 Minutes

Add the WordPress plugin, or paste one line of code into any other website.
It learns your site
The Wow Bot reads your pages and keeps up as you publish, so answers stay current.
Visitors ask
A friendly chat answers in seconds, in your organization's voice, with links you've approved.
You learn what people need
Reports show the questions people ask most and the ones your site doesn't answer yet.
Your brand, your chat
Make It Look Like Yours in Minutes
Your chat should feel like part of your website. Change the colours, button, icon and layout until it matches your brand, and see every change in a live preview before you save.
Warm and friendly
A floating button with its own text, soft brand colours and a gentle shadow.
Bold brand
Dark colours, a custom icon and a larger button with a glowing shadow.
Built into the page
An embedded chat with starter questions, right inside a help or member page.
Clean and subtle
A small button on the left, neutral colours and a compact close icon.
You can change: colours for every part of the chat, the heading and placeholder, button text and icon (or upload your own), size, shadow, position, font, starter questions, and whether it floats or sits in the page.

Why non-profits choose it
Built for Organizations That Can't Afford a Wrong Answer
Answers only from your content
The bot speaks from your website and the facts you add. When it doesn't know, it says so and points people to your team.
Links you approve, nothing else
Every link in every answer is checked against your approved list before a visitor sees it.
Private by default
Data lives in Canada, and conversations are encrypted. Even our own staff can't read your visitors' conversations unless you let us.
Reports that show the gaps
See the questions people ask most and the ones that need a better page or a clearer answer.
Spam and abuse protection
Optional email or Cloudflare verification, per-visitor limits and spending caps keep costs predictable.
Your brand, your colours
Match the chat's colours, button, icon and layout to your site, with a live preview as you go. See examples. Larger plans can remove "Powered by" entirely.

Questions
Non-Profit Chatbot Questions, Answered
What is an AI chatbot for non-profits?
It's a chat assistant on your website that answers visitors' questions using your own pages and the facts you add, such as how to donate, volunteer, get help or find a tax receipt. The Wow Bot is built for charities and non-profits, with privacy and accuracy settings suited to the people you serve.
Will the chatbot make up answers?
The Wow Bot answers only from your website content and the curated facts you add. When it doesn't know something, it says so and points people to your team. Every link it shares is checked against your approved list first.
Does it work with WordPress, Shopify, Wix or Squarespace?
Yes. WordPress sites use our plugin, which updates the bot the moment you publish. Any other website, including Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, Drupal and plain HTML, adds one line of code and we read the site from its sitemap.
Where is our data stored, and who can see it?
Your data is stored in Canada, and conversations and visitor names and emails are encrypted, so a copy of the database can't be read on its own. Conversation text is private by default: even our own staff can't read it unless you allow it. To write each answer, the question and the relevant parts of your website are processed by our AI providers in the US. The service is designed around PIPEDA, Quebec's Law 25, the GDPR and US state privacy laws.
On WordPress, what stays on our site and what's stored in Canada?
Your WordPress site keeps your pages and posts as always, plus the plugin's settings: appearance, which content to include and your connection keys (the secret key is encrypted). No conversations or visitor details are saved in your WordPress database. The Wow Bot stores everything else in Canada: the copy of your content the bot answers from, conversations and visitor names and emails (encrypted), ratings, email list consents and reports. To write each answer, the question and the matching parts of your content are processed by our AI providers in the US. Conversations are deleted after the number of days you choose.
Can we keep part of a page out of the bot?
Yes. Add the class wowbot-ignore (or the attribute data-wowbot-ignore) to any section of a page, like a staff directory or a members-only note, and the bot skips that section while still reading the rest of the page. In WordPress, select the block and type wowbot-ignore under Advanced, in the Additional CSS class box. To leave out whole pages or folders, add a "Never include" rule in your account.
Can we match the chat to our brand?
Yes. You choose the colours, heading, button text and icon (or upload your own). You also set the button's size and shadow, and whether the chat floats or sits inside a page. A live preview shows each change before you save, and Wow Setup can style it for you. See design examples.
Can businesses use The Wow Bot?
Yes. We built The Wow Bot for non-profits, charities and associations, and businesses are welcome too. Every plan, feature and the 7-day free trial work the same way for a business website. See how businesses use The Wow Bot.
How much does it cost?
Plans start at $29 USD or $39 CAD a month after a 7-day free trial, with two months free when you pay yearly. Extra answers and our done-for-you Wow Setup are available as add-ons.
