A Shopify Chatbot That Answers Supporters Instantly
Plenty of charities sell merchandise, calendars or event tickets on Shopify. Shoppers often have questions about more than the product: where the money goes, whether a purchase counts as a donation, or when an order ships. The Wow Bot answers all of it from your own pages.

Why it works
What The Wow Bot Does for Shopify
Reads your whole store
Products, collections, shipping policies and your About and Impact pages, all from your store's automatic sitemap.
Mission and product in one place
Shoppers can ask how their purchase helps and get an answer from your impact pages, alongside product details.
One line of code
Add a single script to your theme. No app store install and nothing that touches checkout.
Keeps up with changes
Your store is re-read weekly or daily depending on your plan, or every six hours with the add-on.
Every chat is styled to match your brand: colours, button, icon and layout. See design examples.
Setup
How to Add The Wow Bot to Shopify
- In Shopify, open Online Store → Themes → Edit code.
- Open theme.liquid and paste the one-line script from your Wow Bot account just before </body>.
- Save. The bot reads your store from its sitemap automatically.
- Use Manage content in your account to leave out anything you don't want in answers, such as filtered collection pages.

Questions
Shopify: Common Questions
Is there a Shopify app to install?
No. You add one line of code to your theme, which keeps it simple and means no extra app permissions on your store.
Will it answer order status questions?
It answers from your published content, such as shipping and returns policies. It can't look up a specific order, so it points shoppers to your order status page or team for that.
Can it skip product filter pages?
Yes. Add a rule like /collections/*/filter* under Manage content and those pages stay out of the bot.
